Grade 23 (Grade 5 ELI)

Grade 23 (Grade 5-ELI) is more ductile than Grade 5. Its lower iron (Fe), oxygen (O), and carbon (C) content makes it purer than Grade 5. Its fatigue resistance further highlights its prominence. While it is used in aviation and industry, its excellent biocompatibility, along with its other features, makes it a preferred choice for biomedical implant applications.

Grade 12

The addition of molybdenum and nickel in Grade 12 titanium enhances its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, which contributes to its resistance against cracking. Moreover, the alloy’s composition makes it particularly suitable for welding processes, as it maintains its integrity and properties during welding operations. It is recognized for its strength, corrosion resistance, and exceptional weldability, making it a valuable material for various applications in industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, and marine engineering.
